JKR Wins Domain Name Tussle

J.K.Rowling has won a legal battle in a typosquatting claim, and will have the domains "kjkrowling.com" and "www-jkrowling.com," currently registered to an individual in Uruguay, transferred to her. A typosquatter purposefully incorporates mispellings and common typos into domain names, to harvest hits from typists with slippery fingers. A while back a particularly seedy site boasted our domain name with a ".com" at the end (and others have sprung up as well); this is just one example of this practice (though we are glad to note the worst thing you'll find there now is a popup). Thanks very much to Veritaserum for the tip!
