All-Star Celebrity Bowling is Headed to AMC

Editor

Get ready, nerds. Chris Hardwick’s fabulous All-Star Celebrity Bowling show is moving to a somewhat bigger screen near you. The hilarious Nerdist YouTube show that pits the rotating Nerdist team with the casts of our favorite television shows has been picked up by AMC. In fact, the pilot of the show, which will debut later this year, is a rematch against the Mad Men cast, led by Jon Hamm.

Other fantastic episodes include an intense showdown against the cast of Breaking Bad as well as an unbelievably hilarious game against the Doctor Who crew. We highly recommend you go watch it right now. Yes, now. You won’t regret it.

The show has been picked up for eight hour-long episodes (yes, HOUR LONG EPISODES). Executive Producing are Nerdist’s Chris Hardwick and Seth Laderman in partnership with High Noon Entertainment and AMC. The pilot was developed with Soapbox Films. The show will also add the Sklar Brothers as co-hosts.

More information will be available in coming months; in the meantime, catch up on the original showdown against the Mad Men team. Should be a good re-match, right?

Really though, what could go wrong? Bowling + celebrities + television? That’s a lot of hilarity, folks. Can we get the Doctor Who crew back in here, please?
