Captain America: The Winter Soldier, sequel to the 2011 hit and part of the ever-growing Avengers franchise, Captain America: The First Avenger, is starting filming next year in Cleveland, Ohio.
Marvel, in conjunction with the Greater Cleveland Film Commission, announced the blockbuster project moving to Ohio to start filming next year with a scheduled for a 2014 release.
The film will be directed by Cleveland natives Anthony and Joe Russo, who have been executive producers responsible for fan favourite Community, as well as directors for the popular Arrested Development.
I don’t know about you, but this sounds damn exciting to me. Comedy writers with an action movie and Marvel superhero material. It’s like Christmas. Or they could screw it up and leave out all the action that makes us go to superhero movies, but I’m banking on the fact that witty dialogue will add to the fun.
