Jeffrey Wright has been cast as Beetee in Catching Fire. Wright is best known for roles in the recent James Bond films (Casino Royale and Quantam of Solace), W., and Syriana. He won a Tony Award in the 1990s for Angels in America, a role he also played in the HBO mini-series adaptation.
Hailing from District 3, Beetee is a male tribute for the Quarter Quell. An older tribute, he is an electronics and wiring whiz. Beetee shares a close relationship with fellow District 3 tribute Wiress, and is the only person who can really understand her.
