Earlier today LeakyCon announced a special guest for London 2013: journalist, TV Presenter, and author Dawn O’Porter:

Dawn has written for various UK newspapers and magazines including Grazia, and Stylist. Her new novel Paper Aeroplanes tells the story of two unlikely friends Renée and Flo, growing up in the mid-1990s. With graphic content and some scenes of a sexual nature, Paper Aeroplanes is a gritty, poignant, often laugh-out-loud funny and powerful novel, perfect for fans of Caitlin Moran and Lena Dunham. It is an unforgettable snapshot of small-town adolescence and the heart-stopping power of female friendship.

Paper Aeroplanes is out May 2, 2013; plenty of time to read it before the conference!

      That’s true. However, for her book she is writing under O’Porter. So that is what we are going by, her professional name.
