This month we saw a multitude of promos for this year’s hit shows. We know you’re as excited to see your favorite characters return as we are; it has been a long summer without them. Check out the fall promos for some of our favorite shows below. Let us know what returning series you’re most looking forward to in the comments. If you prefer to live your life spoiler free steer clear of these goodies.

Revenge returns on Sun., Sept. 30 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.

UPDATED: Downton Abbey returns to ITV September 16th and will return to PBS January 6, 2013 for US viewers

New Official PBS Promo

Gossip Girl returns on Mon., Oct. 8 on the CW.

The Vampire Diaries returns on Thurs. Oct. 11 at 8p.m. ET on the CW

Castle returns on Mon., Sept. 24 at 10p.m. ET on ABC

Once Upon a Time returns on Sun. Sept. 30 at 8p.m. ET on ABC

American Horror Story: Asylum has had 3 promos already, but here’s our personal favorite of the lot (warning: I picked the creepiest of the three – Leah). It doesn’t have an exact air date yet, but will begin on FX in October, most likely around Halloween.

I’m eagerly awaiting the return of Community, but dreading it a bit, too. This will be a Dan Harmon-less show returning, and while a part of me feels devastated at that fact, another part of me is extremely curious as to whether the new show-runners might actually pull it off and create a quality show. Many people seem to think this is the shows last hurrah (what with only 13 or so episodes, a Friday night death-slot, etc), but NBC seems to be insisting that there’s still the possibility that the season could be extended, that the show could continue. Whether they’re lying out of their rear orifices or not remains to be seen, I guess. I’m also looking forward to the return of Parks and Rec (I know, lots of NBC stuff); both Community and Parks really grew on me over the years. I’m also doing my best to catch up with Doctor Who again after being a lapsed fan for the last two seasons.

DEFINITELY Fringe, with Community and Parks and Rec close behind.
