Leaky Job Openings

Leaky is always growing and looking for more people to help it do so (on a volunteer basis). If you’d like to help Leaky in one of these categories, please send an email to jobs@the-leaky-cauldron.org with the name of the job in the subject. Please send us all relevant experience, and whatever clips, resumes, examples, etc., you would like to send. If you have applied and not heard back, please be patient; we have received your application and will get to it as soon as possible. With EVERY application, please be sure to send in links to relative sites showing examples of your work; if you have attachments you’d like to send, mention it in the email and someone will get back to you about them. All current volunteers on Leaky are welcome to apply if they seek to switch tracks. Thank you so much for your interest!

Scribbulus Editors

We are looking for some essay lovers to help edit Scribbulus, our premiere essay project! You should send a sample of your writing (at least 500 words) and a brief description of yourself and why you would like to work for Scribbulus. Thanks in advance! Good luck!

Ruby on Rails Programmers

We are always looking for programmers who are either beginners or proficient in Ruby on Rails who want experience coding in the new language for a site with an audience like Leaky’s.

Designer

We’re looking for a few good people to help relieve John Noe of his burden as the only site designer around here. You should send samples of your work in site design/graphics/composition/Photoshop, and be willing and able to take direction.

Flash

We are always looking for people with a familiarity in Flash, who are interested in using it to help create new layouts for TLC.

Accio Quote

Our friends over at Accio Quote are looking for some help, too: Specifically, a PHP programmer or two who can donate their time to help finish the database. If you are interested, please send links to active PHP-based projects that you have worked on and information on your training and/or experience. Email accioquote@gmail.com.
