Joel McHale Joins Sons of Anarchy

Today PerezHilton tells us that Community’s Joel McHale has signed on for a multi-episode character arc with FX’s popular drama Sons of Anarchy. The show, for those unfamiliar, is about an outlaw motorcycle gang in a fictional northern California town.

McHale, who is also on the news satire The Soup, is likely nearly done with his role on Community,  as NBC has replaced showrunner and creator dan Harmon as of this season, and only renewed the show for a shortened return. All signs point to the show being cancelled after the next season wraps up, and so McHale, who is by all accounts a very talented actor, will be looking for a new gig once Jeff Winger finally gets back to practicing law.

We don’t know much about McHale’s character, except that he’ll play “Warren, a con man who double-crosses the wrong person.” Exciting stuff!
