With The Avengers still making a crap ton of money (it’s now the most successful super hero film in history), producer Kevin Feige is discussing said success and the future of Marvel’s films.
“We want to do two films a year. Avengers is our only film this year, but in a week and a half we begin filming Iron Man 3,” he says. “By the end of the summer we’ll be working on the next Thor film, early next year the next Captain America film.”
Two films a year! I just died a little. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m just ready for The Avengers 2… The Avengening. Watch the full video below. My favorite bit is when he talks about other studios having licenses for other Marvel characters.
