Various sources have confirmed that actor, Michael Clarke Duncan, died yesterday at the age of 54 after suffering a heart attack a few weeks prior.
Duncan was best known as a death row prison inmate in The Green Mile, a role for which he was nominated for an Academy Award in the category of Best Supporting Actor, a Golden Globe in the same category, and a variety of other awards. Starting out first as a bodyguard to stars such as Will Smith and Jamie Foxx, Duncan landed his first role as an actor in the 1998 films Armageddon, and starred in a number of film and TV roles throughout his career.
