More Game of Thrones Casting

Managing Editor

Here’s a bit of interesting news for Game of Thrones fans. Casting for next season has been underway for some time, but according to Winteriscoming.net, now it includes two characters that fans either love or hate, depending on their preference for Daenerys Targaryen. Slight spoilers below, so beware!

Newcomer Ed Skrein has been cast as the charming and rogueish Daario Naharis, a character who features somewhat prominently in the fifth book, A Dance With Dragons. Skrein was originally a musician, but has transitioned into acting recently and appeared in two films, Piggy and Ill Manors. Many of the cast on Game of Thrones are new or lesser-known actors however, so you shouldn’t be worried if Daario is your favorite.

Next up is Jacob Anderson, who plays Grey Worm, the captain of the Unsullied and one of the most important characters connected to Daenerys. Anderson has more of a background in acting, having appeared in Skins, Adulthood, Chatroom, and Episodes.
