People’s Choice Awards Nominees Announced

Do you smell that?

It smells like awards season.

The nominees for the 2014 People’s Choice Awards were announced today, and a lot of Leaky-approved movies and TV shows made the cut.

Iron Man 2 and Star Trek: Into Darkness, along with their casts, picked up nominations in the movie categories, and Sharknado tore through the TV Movies to snag a spot.

As for TV, Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey were both recognized in the cable spots. Once they made it to the network tv nominations, we hit paydirt. Here are the shows that grabbed the most noms:

Glee

  • Comedic TV Actor: Darren Criss, Chris Colfer
  • Comedic TV Actress: Jane Lynch, Lea Michele
  • TV Bromance: Blaine and Sam (Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet)
  • TV Gal Pals: Rachel and Santana (Lea Michele and Naya Rivera)
  • On-Screen Chemistry: Kurt and Blaine (Chris Colfer and Darren Criss)
  • TV Comedy

Supernatural

  • TV Bromance: Dean, Sam, and Cas (Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and Misha Collins)
  • Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Series
  • Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor: Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki

The Vampire Diaries

  • Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Series
  • Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor: Ian Somerhalder
  • Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress: Nina Dobrev
  • On-Screen Chemistry: Damon and Elena (Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev)

    No nominations for Orphan Black is disappointing, if nothing else then Tatiana Maslany should be winning best actress awards left and right.

    My favorite thing is the On Screen Chemistry category and all the pictures are lovey dovey and then there’s Once Upon A Time with Emma holding a sword up to Hook. That’s true love.
