Pond Life #5 – A Bit Not Good

I’m sorry. I’m so sorry but I’ve got the very last Pond Life here for you all. I know, this week has flown by and these little rays of sunshine have been getting you all through the long week before the premiere.

Too bad this one is a little less sun and a little more storm clouds.

We were told specifically that these minisodes would lead directly into Asylum of the Daleks.  We’ve also heard the rumours of trouble in Pond paradise and here’s the first real glimpse of it, so it’s not hard to guess we’re we’ll be starting come Saturday evening.

While it’s seriously distressing to see our favourite married companions arguing (or being thrown unceremoniously from their own house) the bit that hurt the most was the shot of the Doctor standing outside their door. In the rain. Under a sad looking umbrella. And no Ponds to speak of. Matt Smith plays a quiet hurt like no one else and it pretty much broke my heart to see him walk away from their house, and erase his message to them in the end.

Well… that was cheery! Don’t get all down in the dumps though. The awesome team at the Nerdist channel are starting their Doctor Who-eekend – full of lots of fun and cool Who related videos. Today’s is going to be a real treat and we’ll be sure to post that once it’s live.
