An exclusive from EW reports that Stephen Colbert, famed host of the popular news comedy show The Colbert Report, will be making a special appearance in the 9th season of The Office this fall.
Colbert will appear in the show’s Halloween episode, due to air October 25th, as a character called Broccoli Rob, who is a former member of Andy (Ed Helm)’s a cappella group, Here Comes Treble.
It should be interesting to see what kind of mayhem is stirred by Stephen Colbert’s portrayal of the smug, competitive singer. Fans of Colbert’s comedic stylings and The Office‘s witty script are sure to be pleased with this combination of talent.
