The quintessentially British Matt Smith is hopping over to our side of the pond to join the cast of Ryan Gosling’s film, How to Catch a Monster.
Isn’t that too appropriate? Ryan Gosling is calling in the Doctor to catch a monster! According to it’s casting website, the movie is set in a horror fantasy kind of world, where a lonely mother-son duo take an adventure to an underwater city. Sounds like an episode of Doctor Who to me…Alright, I’m done with those jokes.
The cast of the movie is already quite impressive, with Eva Mendes and Christina Hendricks. Yes, she was in Firefly. No, I will not make a joke about that too.
This is Gosling’s directorial debut and Matt Smith’s big screen American debut. How exciting!
