The final episode in the fifth season of Gossip Girl airs tonight at 8/7c on The CW: “The Return of the Ring.” As we told you earlier this week, Gossip Girl has been renewed for one last short season before we say goodbye to the Upper East Side. Bring out the violins! For now, I anticipate an hour of biting my nails and screaming at the screen — a reminder that the synopsis is as follows:
“BLAIR MAKES A CHOICE BETWEEN THE TWO MEN IN HER LIFE – When Gossip Girl goes after Blair as she’s never done before, Serena admits she may have unintentionally played an important role in Blair’s latest nightmare. Meanwhile, Nate invites Lola (guest star Ella Rae Peck) to move in with him, and Lily must make a big decision about the future of her marriage. Finally, by episode’s end, Blair will make a choice between the two men in her life…will it be Chuck or will it be Dan? Kaylee DeFer and Matthew Settle also star. J. Miller Tobin directed the episode written by Sara Goodman.”
