According to The Hollywood Reporter, our favorite original family may be getting their own series. Julie Plec along with Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo as executive producers are working on a spinoff series surrounding Joseph Morgan and Phoebe Tonkin. The series will be set up in a Klaus-centric Vampire Diaries episode on April 25th which will see our favorite hybrid gallivanting through New Orleans. Should the spinoff go to series Vampire Diaries fans can look forward to an entire hour of Joseph Morgan’s pretty pretty face every week. Hey, remember another series about vampires that got a spinoff which surrounded a crowd favorite vampire? Let’s just hope The Originals has nothing to do with lawyers.
