Once a ratings favorite in its day that seemed to inexplicably disappear off the air, Whose Line is it Anyway? is apparently making a comeback! Our reaction?

Series star Colin Mochrie tweeted the spoiler earlier today.
Oh, by the way, Whose Line is coming back. More details later.

Originally a British radio program before making the move to Channel 4 in 1988, Whose Line brought the concept of improv for sport to the airwaves in a manner that was relatively new to the generation consuming it. After a successful 10 year run in the UK, the show made the jump to ABC in 1998. The American version featured some of the players from across the pond as well as a Who’s Who of popular and rising comedians in the late 90s and early 00s.
ComingSoon.net is reporting that Ryan Stiles has recently mentioned returning to LA to begin filming in April, and that Archer and The Talk star and gamer girl darling Aisha Tyler would be joining the show as host.
UPDATE: Entertainment Weekly has fished out some additional details:
The new incarnation will be hosted by The Talk host Aisha Tyler, a comedian who also stars on FX’s Archer. Master improvisers Mochrie, Ryan Stiles, and Wayne Brady — all cast members of the original show — will appear in each episode, along with one special guest comedian.
And now to celebrate, a few gifs to remind you exactly why you’re glad this show is coming back.
